A little bit of my story…

In 2010, I looked at my life, picture perfect with a husband, three boys, a house, a creative side business as a photographer… living the dream in San Diego. Something was missing though. I felt bored and empty. Everything seemed like it was on autopilot. I craved some adventure for my family of five as well as a more personal connection with my then husband. I would rate my life as a 5 at that time. Not bad but not great… a five is kind of nothing.

On a whim I started going to a therapy workshop in hopes of remedying this level “five” life I was living. Little did I know that learning about who I am and defining myself more would turn my world upside down and cause me to lose that middle of the road life and actually end in a divorce after being married for 21 years. The good news is, my life is rarely a five now… in fact it never is.

While I wouldn’t change a thing over the last 13 years, it’s been an up and down adventure of my own personal development but I have studied and learned so much. I am so grateful to those who have coached and trained me to take on life’s hurdles whether it be “how do I define myself in my mid 40’s” or “why did I respond to this text like that”. I think people tend to reach out for coaching and therapy when they are at their wits end. But honestly, the day to to day interactions, thought processes, and mundane inadequacies seems to be the easiest place to get to the heart of things.

So that brings us to you! I’m here for you… for the big and the small things. It really starts with what’s going on right now! My goal is to offer insight into how you are responding to your life, the daily happenings, and to achieve what you want, and who you want to be. Let’s get started!
